Positions for which we may have openings include:

LICENSED VETERINARY TECHNICIANS

Technicians are responsible for hospital maintenance, assisting the doctors, laboratory procedures, radiology, client communication, medical procedures, pharmacy, operation and maintenance of instruments and equipment, inventory, daily treatment of hospitalized patients, rehabilitation, assisting in the operating room and maintenance of the OSHA and Hazardous Materials programs.  Must be licensed, comfortable with computers, love working with people, have a sense of humor and enjoy group problem-solving.  Our techs are also the primary educators, triagers, organizers and implementors.  If you like having a lot of input and responsibility, this is the practice for you!

VETERINARY ASSISTANT - COMMUNICATION & CLIENT CARE

Responsibilities include scheduling appointments, answering the telephone, setting up new clients and patients, preparation and maintenance of medical records, admitting and discharging patients, filling some prescriptions, over the counter sales, mailings, computer operation, financial transactions, filing, and front office and reception area maintenance.  Receptionists will assume the responsibility for acquiring the medical and legal information necessary for the performance of their duties.

VETERINARY ASSISTANT - TECHNICAL

Assistants are primarily responsible for exam room functions:  taking history, recording exam findings, developing estimates, generating invoices, entering reminders, animal restraint, client education and nursing support tasks as directed by the LVT's (labwork, radiographs, blooddraws, etc).  Must be comfortable with computers, be able to accurately record a conversation, love working with people, have a sense of humor and enjoy group problem-solving.  If you are equal parts people person and animal lover this is a great position.
