Pleasant working environment, teamwork between employees, providing the best possible care for people and their pets.

WHAT DIFFICULT ABOUT JOB: 
There is so much to learn in this field that it can be overwhelming.  Not a day goes by where I'm not learning something new!

PETS: 
Dinky & Spunky (Dachshunds)

HOBBIES:
Volunteer at local Jewelbox Theatre.  I love acting, singing, dancing as well as being behind the scenes.

PREVIOUS NON-VETERINARY JOBS:

2 years as Case Manager for adolescents in Pennsylvania group homes
1.5 years Case Manager to underprivildedged children in Florida.

RECENT FAVORITE BOOK & WHY: 
Books are only on the shelves for decoration.  I mostly browse through magazines for the latest on current events.

RECENT FAVORITE MOVIE & WHY: 
Too many to name.

PLACE IN WORLD WOULD LIKE TO GO & WHY: 
Buenos Aires, Argentina.  I greatly admire Eva (Evita) Peron.  She had so much determination to fulfill her dreams no matter what obstacles were in her way.

"Biology of Belief" by Bruce Lipton.  Fascinating book about how our minds and bodies work together and process information.  Currently looking for a good novel-let me know if you have suggestions.

Sad to say, I haven't seen many movies in the last two years.

Too many places to list.  Would travel almost anywhere to experience different cultures and ways of life.

Pleasure to come to work.  Staff friendly & supportive.  Staff cares deeply for their patients

WHAT DIFFICULT ABOUT JOB: Being unable to fix every injury, save every life.  Even once in awhile seeing the results of cruelty or neglect.  There are always those patients who are lost and the memory of their suffering never leaves you.

"Crash".  very thought provoking-reminds us that we are all connected.  "Borat".  Totally politically incorrect.

Africa.  I collect African art and love to read about the animals/cultures of east Africa.  Scotland.
